Rhizobium (Gomaxx-RIZO)

Rhizobium (Gomaxx-RIZO) consists of nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Rhizobium can colonize the roots of leguminous crops. It mainly forms an endo-symbiotic nitrogen-fixing association with roots of legumes plant by infecting the legume root and forming nodules within. It also reduces molecular nitrogen to readily available form. Rhizobium helps by providing organic nitrogenous compounds to plants and plants in return provides organic compounds to the bacteria. Rhizobium (Gomaxx-RIZO) can bring substantial savings in the cost of nitrogenous fertilizers. We have seven genera and are highly crop specific to form nodules in legumes, referred to as the cross inoculation group.
